Use the formula:

We have:

[tex]A(-2;\ -3);\ B(-4;\ 4)[/tex]

substitute:

[tex]|AB|=\sqrt{(-4-(-2))^2+(4-(-3))^2}=\sqrt{(-2)^2+7^2}\\\\=\sqrt{4+49}=\sqrt{53}\approx7.3[/tex]
