f(x) = -x - 2
g(x) = x^2
(g°f)(-6) = ?
First, we find f(-6)
f(x) = -x - 2
f(-6) = -(-6) - 2
f(-6) = 6 - 2
f(-6) = 4
Since f(-6) = 4,
(g°f)(-6) = g(4)
g(x) = x^2
g(4) = 4^2
g(4) = 16
Therefore,
(g°f)(-6) = 16
