m = [tex]\frac{29}{18}[/tex]

add [tex]\frac{11}{6}[/tex] to both sides

m = - [tex]\frac{2}{9}[/tex] + [tex]\frac{11}{6}[/tex]

we require a common denominator for both fractions before adding

multiply numerator/denominator of - [tex]\frac{2}{9}[/tex] by 2

multiply the numerator/denominator of [tex]\frac{11}{6}[/tex] by 3

= - [tex]\frac{4}{18}[/tex] + [tex]\frac{33}{18}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{29}{18}[/tex]
