The first number is 18

The second number is 19

The third number is 20.

x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 57

Combine like terms.

3x + 3 = 57

Subtract 3 from both sides.

3x = 54

Divide both sides by 3.

x = 18

18 + 19 + 20 = 57.
