Assurance refers to the service provider’s ability to help customers and provide prompt service. It is part of the SERVQUAL acronym of service quality dimensions, together with tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy.

Each of these dimensions play a large part in determining customer satisfaction towards a service, which in turn would help create customer loyalty.
