How do I solve 5 log x equals negative 15​

5 becomes the power of x
So, log x^5 = -15
Using the logarithmic rule , and since base is not mentioned it should be 10,
Therefore :
x^5 = 10^ -15
x^5 = 10^ -3(5) now the powers are equal so,
x = 10^-3
x = -1000.
