Multiplying with 6 is like multiplying with 3 because 6 can be divided by 3. So with that being said, anything multiplied by 6, is multiplied by 3, just doubled.

Because with both you can get the answer 18. You can do 6x3=18 
3x6=18 or 3x2=6 or 3x12=36 and 6x6=36 or 3x7=24 and 6x4=24 so with these two numbers you can get similar answers.
