Explain why these two lines have no solution: y = 4/5x + 1 and y = 4/5x - 3

Both [tex]\frac{4}{5}x+1[/tex] and [tex]\frac{4}{5}x-3[/tex] are equal to [tex]y[/tex], so they equal each other:
[tex]\frac{4}{5}x+1=\frac{4}{5}x-3[/tex]
[tex]\rightarrow1=-3[/tex]
But this can't happen.

So there is no solution to the equations.
