f ( x ) = 6^(x+1)
y = 6^(x+1)
[tex]x+1=log _{6}y \\ x = log _{6}y-1 [/tex]
The inverse is:
[tex]y = log _{6}x [/tex]
And when you plug in the values: x = 1, y = - 1:
- 1 = log 1 - 1
- 1 = 0 - 1
 - 1 = - 1
so the answer is:
( 1, - 1 )
