A fathom is 6 feet. How many feet deep is water that is 2 1\2 fathoms deep?

You multiply 6 by 2, 6 being 1 fathom to get 12 feet. Then 1/2 of a fathom is 6/2 to get 3. 3+12=15. The pool is 15 feet deep
