The transformations of the function h(x) from the function f(x) are

  • Translate f(x) 5 units right
  • Then, translate f(x) 3 units up

How to plot the graph of the transformation?

The function is given as:

h(x) = (x - 5)^2 + 3

The parent function is given as:

f(x) = x^2

From the above equations, we have the following transformations:

  • Translate f(x) 5 units right
  • Then, translate f(x) 3 units up

See attachment for the function h(x)
