At first glance it suggests that  Wilson is hard-working and not cheating on his spouse. Also we can see that Wilson is in serious emotional pain. It is interesting that  he's the only character who talks about God, and repeatedly refers to him. Even though submissive and God-fearing, Wilson is beaten-down
