the equation of a line that passes through the point (x1,y1) and has a slope of m is
y-y1=m(x-x1)
so

y-4=3(x-(-2))
so a point is (-2,4)

C, (-2, 4) is the only option that falls on the line. If you have troubles with these kind of questions, just look up an online graphing calculator. They saved me when I was in Algebra. Hope this helped! :)
