You can't really combat fake news due to the first amendment. All news stories are based off of videos with proof/pictures. Ones that don't give even this type of evidence don't even deserve to be considered a "story." The ones that do have videos or pictures, don't take for granted what th reporters say in the summaries of whatever happened. Watch the video or look at the pictures and create your own opinion.
