Two figures are similar with a similarity ratio of 4:3. If the perimeter of the larger figure is 24 cm, find the perimeter of the smaller figure.

The perimeter of the smaller figure is 18 cm.

If we setup a proportion we can easily find the perimeter of the smaller figure

4/3=24/x
24x3=72
72/4=18
x=18
