 Rusesabagina's words showed the reason behind the genocide to be the racial hatred.
This was mainly directed to 
Tutsis who oppressed Hutus for hundreds of years while maintaining the power to themselves.
Based on this,  Rusesabagina's words managed convey his feelings about the division between Hutus and Tutsis.
