It is an example of Conditioned Emotional Response. It is a term in classical example of Pavlovian conditional research. It is the result of an associatin of a relatively neutral stimuls with a painful unconditional stimulus. Little Albert had no fear of white rats. But when a big sound accompanied with sight of white rat he became fearful. So the emotional response is conditioned.
