A number line is a way of solving a given equation using a line. So we need to find the opposite of the integers 3 units away from -7 .
Let’s simplify the give numbers first
=> opposite of the integers 3 = -3
=> away = subtract
=> -7
Thus, the equation would be like this
=> -3 – (-7)
=> 4
