We have the slope: m = (6+7)/(-9-9) = -13/18;
Then,  the slope-intercept form of the equation for the line passing through the given pair of points is y - 6 = (-13/18)(x+9) ;
Finally, y = 13x/18 - 13/2 + 6;
y = 13x/18 - 13/2 + 12/2;
y = 13x/18 - 1/2;
