 The equation of line r is y+3=5/9 (x+3). This is in point-slope form: (y - y1) = m(x - x1). So,line r contains the point (-3,-3). Line s is parallel to line r so it has the same slope, m = 5/9. In point-slope form (like line r), line s is: (y - 4) = (5/9)(x - 9). It contains the point (9,4). 8/5/2016 | David W. Comment.
