I can only use math to explain it. What is 100%?
100% = [tex] \frac{100}{100}[/tex]
percent means per 100.
so 120% = 120/100 = 1.2
120% of a whole number. For example 120% * 10 = [tex] \frac{120}{100} * 10 [/tex] = 12
is it greater than 10.
