height = "h"
Triangle Area = .5 * base * height
1,440 = .5 * 5h * h
1,440 = 2.5 h^2
576 = h ^2
height = 24 centimeters
and the base is therefore 120 centimeters

Double Check
base = 120  cm
height 24 cm
area = .5 * 120 * 24
area = 1,440
