I’m not sure what the negative fours are at the end of your problem are for, but the slope of the line passing through those points is 4.

The line itself is y = 4x - 11

the way to find a slope is to use the formula:
mx+b

m= y2 - y1/ x2 - x1
m= 1 - - 7/ 3 - 1
m= 1+7/ 2
m = 8/2

the slope for this would be 8/2
