Saladin destroyed the Christian army and added territory to his kingdom. He's troops were defeated but he signed a peace treaty with King Richard I of England (Richard the Lionheart) that reestablished the Kingdom of Jerusalem. He ended the Third Crusade with his treaty. (Muslim people didn't like all of the fighting that was taking place.)
